SOGEC has the capacity in the region to control over 2700 KW of applied heat; this is divided into 55 sets of conventional low voltage type equipment and 2 sets of 380-volt control equipment (as used on the heat treatment of large pressure vessels and temporary applications). Also, available for use is SOGEC Gas / Oil Firing Equipment having high-velocity burners suitable for spheres tanks, vessels, and furnaces. Other applications include refractory curing and dry outs, tapping and draining of furnaces, regenerator melts, and cullet filling for the glass industry. Our Dammam and Jubail workshop facility holds the bulk of our contract equipment. It also houses our controlled environment calibration workshop, schoolroom, repair workshop, and manufacturing department.
