We are very pleased to announce that KCG has received several new memberships and certificates, including Mowaamah and much more.
Mowaamah:
Mowaamah is a project owned by the Ministry of Labor & Social Development of Saudi Arabia, which adopts the best standards and practices in creating work environments suitable for people with disabilities. Mowaamah’s certificate is optional for those who wish to develop their work environments to be comprehensive and more supportive of people with disabilities. Although the certificate is optional, it guarantees, however, significant incentives for those who wish to obtain it, including benefits from the 4:1 incentive implemented in Nitaqat associated with employing people with disabilities and the usage of Mowaamah’s logo on KCG materials.
IKTVA:
The IKTVA (In-Kingdom Total Value Add) program is designed to drive supply-chain efficiency and value across Saudi Aramco operations, and to encourage the development of a diverse, sustainable, and globally competitive energy sector in the Kingdom. Through IKTVA, Saudi Aramco building a world-class supply chain to cultivate local business with the goal to retain 70% of all procurement spend in-Kingdom. IKTVA’s proven success model has become the cornerstone for the “Local Content and Government Procurement Authority” localization model, which will accelerate the maturity of the Kingdom’s industrial ecosystem across all sectors. IKK began participating in the program in 2016 with a baseline score of 23%.
US Green Building Council:
The US Green Building Council is a non-profit organization that is committed to transforming how buildings are designed, constructed, and operated through LEED, the world’s most widely used green building system with more than 100,000 buildings participating today. LEED certified buildings are proven to save money, improve efficiency, lower carbon emissions and create healthier places for people. The benefits of a USGBC membership include access to LEED courses and credential maintenance webinars, as well as access to exclusive events and fast-tracked access to LEED certifications. It also declares that KCG is an industry leader, supporting the ongoing development of USGBC’s mission of a prosperous and sustainable future.
